Randal “Randy” G. Anderson, 57, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 28, 2017 at home.
He was born July 22, 1959 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Marilyn and Robert Anderson Jr. He was the youngest of three children. He graduated from Pocatello High School in 1977.
He married Carol Graves in 1981, they later divorced but remained friends.
He worked several jobs over the years, but was well known as a salesman. He worked selling manufactured homes, real estate, Chevrolet cars, and travel trailers and accessories. He also worked at his brother’s business Yellowstone Glass. Later in life he worked as a handyman.
He loved fishing, camping, singing karaoke, Nascar, and stock car racing in former years. He still went out to the track to support his nephew Eric Jones' children Jacob Jones and Kira Jones in their racing. He loved to make people laugh and tell a good story. He was proud of his children, grandchildren, and cherished his family. He loved Pocatello, the mountains, and spent as much time in the splendor of nature as possible.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Robert Anderson Jr. and Marilyn Kathleen Trucks Anderson.
He is survived by his children; Bob and Brandie Anderson (son), Jake Anderson (son), and Amanda Anderson (daughter), siblings; Bob and Mary Anderson (brother), and Becky and Logan Robinson (sister), grandchildren; Taryn Anderson (granddaughter), and Madison Anderson (granddaughter) and also; Diana Rowe (special friend) and Carol Graves (ex-wife).
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 4pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, where family will receive friends one hour prior. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
