Mark Ryan Hancock, 28, former Pocatello resident, passed away January 16, 2015 in Ammon, Idaho.
Mark was born October 17, 1986 at Pocatello to Robert T. and Melanie Reid Hancock. He married Angie Tomkinson and they were later divorced.
Mark had his fair share of jobs but was the proudest as a welder. His dream was always to be an underwater welder. Some of his other occupations included dishwasher and cook. He enjoyed many activities including but not limited to flint making, he made his own fly pole, bead work, collecting coins, hunting, and fishing. The most important thing in his life was his two boys.
Mark came from a large blended family that liked to party. When they had parties, they were big and rowdy. He was closest to his cousin Michael. They were always attached at the hips. He loved to tease all his aunts, uncles and couisins, etc.
Mark is survived by his sons, Zed Ryan and Kollin Levi Hancock of Idaho Falls. He is also survived by his parents of Pocatello; grandparents, Bob (Twila) Cook of Pocatello, Ronald Hancock of Chubbuck, Berna Dee Ried of Preston, Idaho; and three sisters, Tesa Hancock of Pocatello, Tara Hancock of Pocatello, and Kala Hancock of Spokane, Washington.
He was preceded in death by grandmother, Carol Hancock, grandfather, Paul Reid, and numerous great grandparents.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 11 am in the Cedar L.D.S. Third Ward, 550 West Cedar St., Pocatello, where the family will receive friends from 10 am until service time and on Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family to defray service costs.
