I am so sorry to hear the loss of Ken and your mother Wilma. A notice came out in the Fleet Reserve Magazine this week. Ken and I were Station at the Search and Rescue Center at Pearl Harbor and later in Kunia an old airport manufacturing plant on Oahu which was later converted to Cincpac Command Center. Ken and I met up while I was aboard the USS Constellation. Your Mom and Dad were wonderful people and we shared many sea stories. If anyone might want to discuss things aboaut both of them my email address is dollygary@q.com home phone 8019432124. Sincerely, Gary L Cain CWO3 ret. Sandy, UT 84092

Ken was one good man. I had the opportunity to work with Ken at the Pocatello Police Department. I sure enjoyed his sense of humor. He was fun to be around and always had a joke. He will be missed. Our prayers are with his family. Terry F. Felsman, Suva Fiji LDS Mission

Dear Karen, Kevin, and family,
My husband Bob and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. I’m so glad we had the pleasure of meeting Uncle Kenny and Aunt Wilma while they were visiting my parents Don and Marie. It was way back in 1986 and my husband had just gotten on the NYC Fire dept, assigned to a house in lower Manhattan. Bob and I met my parents and your parents in Manhattan for dinner and took them to Bobs firehouse. Uncle Kenny was like a kid! He looked over everything in that house! We feel privileged to have such a wonderful memory of them. Our deepest sympathy is with you at the time. Krissy and Bob Alverson

Dear Karen and Kevin and family ...
First, our sincerest condolences on the passing of your father.
We were fortunate to receive a visit from our Uncle Ken and Aunt Wilma at our home in Peekskill, New York back in 1986 while they were visiting my parents (Don and Marie). I never forgot our visit and how warm and engaging they both were. I am so glad that Ken and Don were able to remain connected over the years and distance. Know that we are remembering both Ken and Wilma, and your entire family in our prayers this week.
Peace Always,
Doug and Carol Rydell

Chief Seaman was an important person in my life as we served together on the USS Current (ARS-22). I only recently reconnected with him via email and I am glad I did. I only have positive and fond memories of our time in Hawaii. I still can picture the time we (my "radio" shipmates) had dinner at his house. And, given his posts on Facebook, I think we were on the same page with many subjects and concerns for our country. Rest in peace, Chief. I am glad you were part of my life.

Farwell shipmate. I trust you have found those fair winds and smooth seas. It has been an honor to be your friend all these years. Say Hi to Wilma for me. Look up Sonia for me also.
Friends forever
Tom
