Gloria Lupo Obituary
Gloria D. Lupo, 94 passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018. Gloria was born July 6, 1923, in Pittsburg, PA. She married Robert Lupo in 1940 and later divorced.
Gloria had a diversified career; from welding on ships during WW II, security for Politian’s and actors to private duty nursing.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Albert DiGiosio and her two brothers Richard and Arthur.
Gloria is survived by her five children: Janet (Ed (deceased)), Barbara (Keith), Richard, Robert (Linda), Mark (Denise) and 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and instilled strength and confidence in them. Her glowing presence alone would light up a room. She had a style for fashion and wore high heels until we took them away from her at age 93! She will be missed by all!
The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Brookdale – Chubbuck and Encompass Home Health and Hospice for all their love and care.
Family will have a special gathering on Miami Beach, where Gloria spent much of her time, at a later date to celebrate her life.
