My sincere condolences on Floyd's passing. He was truly loved, and he will be missed.
I hold deep in my heart the fond memories of the time I was able to spend with Floyd.

Floyd had a big impact on me and my life as I grew up through the years. I think often of the time I was able to spend just hanging around with Floyd watching him work and riding on the fender of the tractor or other equipment. At some point in life he trusted me to operate his farm equipment, what an honor for a city slicker like me. I learned a lot from Floyd, skills that I still use to this very day. There are times when I am asked “where did you learn how to do that? “, I just smile and say - I learned it from my Uncle Floyd. Most of all he helped me build confidence in myself and my abilities. Floyd was a great role model and teacher for a lot of us young boys whom he hired to help him around the farm over the years.
I have fond memories of the few times we were able to get Floyd to break away from work and go fishing, or Pheasant hunting with my dad and I , or him playing “kick the can” with us kids in our younger days.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Chip

This makes me think of Floyd: A hard working and caring individual.

Some of my fondest memories of Floyd will always include Johnson family gatherings & picnics on Tyhee Flats, as well as time spent in the Flying Banner 4-H Club with Ruth & Floyd as our leaders -- especially at the Bannock County Fair.

I'll always remember Floyd as a gentle, dapper giant, a kind man with a ready smile & a big, warm heart -- always ready to help anytime & anywhere.

My heart goes out to all of you: Ruth, Sue, Jayne, Norman and the extended family! May you find some peace and comfort in reliving the special memories that you all hold dear. And may you find a relatively easy path forward as you continue, now, without your steady, patient Floyd giving his gentle guidance & loving support.

With our deepest sympathy,
Jackie & Bob
