Etta Vida Lamb

Etta Vida Lamb, 88, Pocatello, passed away, Sunday evening, November 23, 2014.
She was born at home in Mayhill, New Mexico on October 10, 1926. The third child of Anda Oral and Hattie Rosetta Scott. Our mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend went home to her Heavenly Father on November 23, 2014. Her sibling, cousins, and childhood friends knew her as Vida. Later on she was called Vi and grandma Vi. Professional & Medical acquaintances knew her as Etta.
She lived in the Mayhill, New Mexico area through out her childhood, and her adult life was spent in different towns including Carlsbad, Alamogordo, and Clovis, New Mexico with her husband Bob Lamb. They where married on March 13, 1949. When Bob retired in 1979 they moved to Pocatello, Idaho, where she lived till 2008, then moved to Inkom to reside with her daughter (Charolette and her husband Mike).
Mom loved her family and nearly everyone she met  became her family. Her hobbies where fishing, camping with family and friends, bowling, and most outdoor activities. She played
fast pitch softball as an adult. In high school she excelled in basketball. Needless to say she enjoyed being outside more than she did inside. She worked at Pocatello Regional Medical Center in the house keeping department for ten years.
She leaves behind her children, Rosetta Cramer Mankato, Min., Charolette Kissel (Mike)
Inkom, ID, Albert Lamb (Sheri). 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, with three on the way. Sisters, Lou Ellen Hastings and Pearl Dockray of Alamogordo, New Mexico, sister-in-law Julia Scott of La Harbra, CA.  Many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death my her husband, parents, infant son James Oral, brothers George and William Oral, brothers-in-law Vernon Hastings and Henry Dockray. Sister-in-law Irene Scott.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 2 pm in the Skyline LDS Ward, 150 Snow Peak Blvd, Inkom, Idaho.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to services in the Church Saturday.  Interment will be in the Inkom Cemetery.
