Ervon Bruce Ashby

Ervon Bruce Ashby, 82, was born May 10, 1935 to parents Arthur and Inez Swenson Ashby of Ogden, Utah. Pocatello High School Graduate. Served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sweden. Sealed for time and all eternity to his sweetheart Sydnae Dawn Sholley, who proceeded him in death April 28, 2016.
Ervon sold fun for over 50 years as owner of Sport Motor Performance and RV Center. He loved to support his community.
He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed activities with his children and traveling around the world. He served in many capacities of the LDS Church, Army National Guard, and his community.
He was an extremely loving, hard working, and dedicated father of 6 children; Cynthia Johnson, Bruce Ashby, David Ashby, Lisa Ashby, Richard Ashby, and Tamara Emfield; 13.5 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 10, at 11 am in the LDS Alameda 2nd Ward Building, corner of Walnut & Jefferson, Pocatello. Family will receive friends Friday from 7-9 pm in the Cornelison Funeral Home, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, and one hour prior to services in the church. Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Pocatello. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.cornelisonfh.com
